On March 31, 2009 after nearly five years of planning, G. A. Borstad Associates Ltd. and ASL Environmental Sciences Inc. merged to form one expanded company. A new company ASL Borstad Remote Sensing Inc has been formed to deliver all of the same reliable data acquisition, consulting services, contract research and development, and training in the application of remote sensing technology previously offered by Borstad Associates Ltd. ASL Borstad will operate as a division of ASL Environmental Sciences.

Borstad Associates has provided satellite and airborne remote sensing research and development, as well as mapping and monitoring services to the environment, fisheries, oceanography, mining and military sectors for 26 years.
