Polaris Applied Sciences was coordinating a larger study for Shell Oil at one of their terminals near Anacortes and contracted ASL to obtain current profile and directional wave data near the terminal.
ASL personnel deployed an RDI ADCP on a bottom frame and recovered it one month later. The data were passed on to Polaris for processing and inclusion into their study.
